This course meets Area IV requirements for A.A./A.A.S./A.S. general education requirement, 6000-word Gordon Rule requirement, and part of the six-hour International/Intercultural requirement. This course introduces the student to dramatic literature of the world from ancient to modern times and to the arts and crafts which transform it into the living theatre. It is designed to develop the students knowledge and appreciation of the theatre arts through a historic and contemporary approach so that the student may gain a greater satisfaction from the dramatic presentations available in the community. Attendance at live stage productions is a mandatory part of this course.
